I think the best thing to do is just aim for the last 2 Saturdays in September... I dont think it will be a problem but I will verify this before Friday and before I start a sign up thread...

Just check your calenders and be thinking what works best for you all... So we are looking at the 19th or the 26th... And if this is too short of notice maybe we will move it to the first Saturday in October... Cooler Temps with less Humidity by then...

Any Ideas that you guys might have shoot away!

Sorry for the delay guys...

So here is the update! The place that we will be doing the dyno runs is a Performance Shop and mainly does race motors gas and alcohol based... Their dyno is a brand new Edy from Dyno Jet that did not have the proper hook up to get torgue and RPM numbers...
I was going to order the proper cables and everything but once the owner saw my truck run and the resulting numbers he decided that he would order the hook up...

I called today to check about the last 2 days this month pending on the DynoJet delivery... SO its still in the air until that delivery comes in... So if this still seems like the proper amount of notice then good... If not we can move to October... We will decide this when the cables and everything come in....

I will be sitting down with them to see how they can best accommodate us!

So yeah take it easy on me... This is was my first time running my truck or any other vehicle on the dyno... I was so nervous at first and the first couple of pulls are to laugh at...

But see if you can tell me what all that I did wrong here... Obviously one thing was I left the AC running.. I dont think that it would make that much of a difference though...

Here are my numbers from those pulls...

Well let's start with this,
How many truck do we need to make the day sucesfull?
What time will it start?
Who will take care of video's?
Parking availability?
Do you want to try and do flyers?
Do we want to try and do music?
What about food?
Does the owner have a concern with black smoke in the shop?
Is he going to have some fans for some of the big fuel guys?

What time will it start? What ever time works for everyone else... we could do it from 9-2 or 1-6
Who will take care of video's? Once we figure out who all is going we need to find either a volunteer to do videos or be respnisble for our own...

Parking availability? I will be able to get a good number of parking spots available I will have to check on that but I know that we will have at least 20 spaces for trucks. I also need to check because there is a car wash place with space for those who might be trailering..

Do you want to try and do flyers? I was not thinking about using flyers since this being a first time even at this facility. But between this site and another site I think that I have at least 7 trucks.. For right now I was pulling interest on a bunch of forums...

Do we want to try and do music? I think that music would be a great idea... I dont know what you guys have used in the past but I am sure that a portable smaller unit would suffice...

What about food? There are a couple of options here... Plenty of fast food restaurants in walking distance... I could get some local mobile hot dog stands to show up.. Just some ideas

Does the owner have a concern with black smoke in the shop? No... For those who have passenger side exhaust it will shoot out a access door... For those who might have dual rear exhaust there is a plexi glass plate mounted to the wall and smoke is not really an issue... For dual side exit exhaust I might rig up some pipe for driver side exit since all the computers will be on that side of the bay...

Is he going to have some fans for some of the big fuel guys? I might need some help with this question... I mean all fuel's are welcome... This place specializes in top fuel race cars and accommodates anything on the dyno as long as the vehicle does not exceed 2000hp...

As soon as the proper equipment arrives I will go in and do some test runs to test and make sure that everything works out..

I will be calling into the shop tomorrow to see if everything for the dyno had arrived and to set up a time to sit down with the owner to see how they can best accommodate us... So any ideas ans inputs would be great!

Theses questions will be revised too I am sure!

When fueling one of these trucks hard , (over 700rwhp) you need some fans such as carpet dryers to provide airflow accross the radiator and intercooler
