Wednesday night is "Grudge Match" racing @ Thompson Raceway in Thompson, Ohio.

Myself and Josh Stewart (our Grand Rock liaison) have been discussing getting people together to perhaps meet up there and do some racing! Just wondering if anyone is interested in checking it out? Would be fun to get up there and just have some fun, meet some people, talk diesel, and smoke out some rice (HAHA).

Only $12. to race - $10 to watch! Kids 6-12 $3.

While I can't race, due to not owning a diesel (hides behind the couch now)...yet....I would still go for a meet and greet, and root on the diesel guys!

 

Meet and greet would be great. Wonder if you can bring one of those camp stoves? We could cook some hot dogs or something? If not we can always just roast them on the manifold of a truck that just finished a run!

 

Sunday would be better. Too far to drive home on a Wed. night

 

I dont believe Sundays are a "public" race days?!? I am not totally sure though.

 

Sunday's would work if they are running a T-n-T on that day. Wednesday's are "Grudge Nights"...so everyone and their mom are out there racing sleds, bikes, cars, trucks,...everything. You even have guys out there with their weekend race cars testing. It's usually alot of fun.

 

Watching sleds race is pretty sweet!
