Default New exhaust regulations @ Bandimere in Denver

I heard this over at cumminsforum and figured I'd help spread it around. But aparently Bandimere speedway in Denver, CO has changed their diesel rules for 2009. Any exhaust that exits out the side needs to be somehow redirected straight up and towards the rear of the vehicle. This is due to the smoke messing with the timing lights and apparently 'destroying' their banners at least three times a year.

I called Bandimere and talk to a Jeff about it and he said that it is true and is being enforced during more major events and that next year it will be completely enforced.

Not entirely new.

I thought a lot of tracks got around the light-smoking issue by moving them somewhere or something?

idk that you could move the lights your tires are what trigger them so you can really do anything with them. maybe adj. height but probably not much at that
