Default NADM and Pittsburgh Raceway Park Drag Race Series

The NADM and Pittsburgh Raceway Park are proud to announce a 3 race Series at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. The series will be E.T Diesel Bracket Racing for points with the NADM. You will need to be a member in order to compete in the Diesel Class. Providing enough members sign up and participate, the NADM will have end of the year payouts for the first 3 points leaders. The dates are as follows:

Sunday July 12th

Sunday August 9th

Saturday September 12th

Gates open at 9:00am. Junior Dragsters will run in the AM.

Time trials start at 1:00pm for all vehicles

Eliminations start around 4:00pm.

We will have our own lane to stage in. We will be running with the regular racing program but PRP gave the NADM a lane to run the program as they are a very diesel friendly track.

Also this is an affiliate program and the points will only go towards the races at PRP. Points will not carry to any other race.

Caleb Baker and I are the NADM Techs for the series.

You can sign up to be a member online at National Association of Diesel Motorsports

You can also sign up at our shop, or at the track. But again you must be a member in order to race.

As we receive more information, we will post the details in the forums and also information will be available at pittsburghracewaypark.com

If you have any questions, Caleb and I can be reached at the number below, or feel free to leave a PM.

Thank You,

Ryan Knight

What kinda rules are we looking at?

As a sled puller I really dont know how these bracket races work (other then teh basics) are you saying that the series is only these 3 races?

I've been looking at doing some racing and this looks like it could be fun.

The rules are basic ET Bracket racing rules. It is a sportsman tree start. Must have a helmet if running faster than 13.99 in the 1/4

The series is a 3 race series at Pittsburgh Raceway Park only.

We need to show PRP a good showing for the future plans for 2010. We believe there is a future for the diesel community at PRP.

Thanks,
Ryan

Less than a week to go. Who's coming??

We will have a tent setup to get everyone signed up as members of the NADM.

It is $60 for the membership and included is a 1 year subscription to Diesel World magazine.

For those who are members, make sure you have your member number with you.

Can't wait to see everyone.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I would like to start off by thanking the NADM and Pittsburgh Raceway Park for letting us put this series on. This was and is a HUGE step for our diesel community in the area. A long awaited diesel racing series has been something needed for years in our area. Today showed the begining of a big future for us.

Pittsburgh Raceway Park has welcomed us back to there racing program. Everything was well organized and run very smoothly

Secondly I would like to thank all those who came out to the track to participate and support the sport. Without you, today's event and the future event's would not happen. And we would also like to thank those who came to the track to specate and support their fellow racers.

Congratulations to Jon Epstein on the win today.

Also congratulations to Tom Pazak on the fastest E.T. of the day

We had 13 truck sign up to race the class. 12 made it to eliminations.

Again thank you all for your support
