I packed up the wife and a buddy and drove 8 hours north to Sacramento, drank a couple beers with my buddy Rick (Runamuk), slept for 2 hours...drove up to Redding, CA Saturday morning and watch some AWESOME drag racing and sled pulling till about 10pm...drove back down to Sacramento, had a few MORE beers with Rick, my wife and buddy slept 3 more hours, then drove 8 hours back down here to San Diego...now I'm drinkin beers again!

I am uploading all my videos to photobucket and will put them in a folder and post a link so that you all can watch them all ASAP...whew...GOOD TIME!

No problem bud! I LOVE getting out there and making a weekend out of driving around in these trucks! I appreciate you putting us up two nights in a row...you saved us a good chuck of change with your hospitality!

Now, on another note...I gotta figure out a way to chill my wife out. Ever since she toasted that other Cummins guy (sorry if it is anybody in here that we don't know) she has had a little case of the "big head"! Ol' boy was runnin back and forth with us and all she wanted to do was get in a lane and set the cruise and go on...obviously they wanted to play...so I sat up (I was trying to nap) and told Heather to "turn 'em up and light 'em up"...so she did...blew them away...it was all in good fun though...we let them catch back up and we threw a few thumbs up at each other and went on about our business....MAN, what a FUN weekend!

 

Oh yes before I forget WARNING: DO NOT RACE HEATHER!!

There was a smoke cloud 200 feet behind her!!

Yeah, I also had a blast this weekend up in Redding. It was a very well organized event, and I liked how they waited and did the sled pulls at night. Hopfully you got some good videos of me.

Added some bling to my 67 F100, put a chromey air filter on the ol' Edelbrock carb. Then changed the oil pan gasket...not much fun.
