Yeah, I hope to get to a couple of pulls this summer. I will just be a spectator.

 

I'll be pulling this Sat in Beresford with the Great Plains sled. 7500# Super Stock

 

I wish I could make it to that one, but I have a lot of jobs that need buttoned up right now and not enough time. I've heard that one is pretty darned good usually.

 

Beresford was cancelled, the sled made it about 1/5th the way thru the pull event and the bearing went out of the weight box gear and it was over. Sucks. I hear Akron Iowa is having a pull next sat @ 6pm, rumor has it that they have a few good sponsors and prize money and trophies awarded to 1st place winners. THEY ARE HAVING PICKUPS PULL AS WELL. I will be there.

 

Wow, what a pull...or should I say what a joke. Never have I pulled a sled that the weight box hit the very front @ the 100ft mark. The super mod 2wd had a hard time getting past 110-130ft. I made it to 94ft. I talked to the super mod 2wd pullers and they said that the person hosting the event puts the sled into KILL MODE, so it kills us before we even get a chance at the sled. One of them burnt a clutch and were NOT happy. I was even ticked off, Sure I dont have 500hp 1000tq coming from my truck but even I know better. Not A Happy Pull. I have video's, will post them for you to judge.
