I checked out the website of the westminster place, they didnt really list a diesel warm and fuzzy list of services and hagerstown is a bit far out there for him to drive and leave it. Anywhere closer? Thanks!!
Check out this shop. Home
Loyd Mills is a great guy and does good work.

I will do it for you if your dad wants to bring it to Essex and leave it with me for a day. I've done nearly all the work on my own 24v and know these motors pretty well, and would like to help you out since you are overseas serving our country. Lloyd at Mid-Atlantic is one of the few guys I'd trust to work on my truck, but if you wanted to save a few bucks I'd gladly do the work for ya.

Hey man, I greatly appreciate the thought, I really do. If I was home, I would totally take you up on the offer as I too do all the work on my truck. However since I am gone and can't really trust the 'rents to get the work and all aspects done, I would prefer an insured shop to do it just incase anything happens. I really do appreciate the thought, but I'll have to pass. I will be installing a few more goodies once I get back that are less of a "need" and more of a "want" if you have a warm place to work as opposed to a driveway, if the offer is still good then, but for now I'll ahve to pass due to parental concerns. Nothing against you, just prefer to play it safe just incase something else goes wrong.

Well if you want to go that route have the shop put in the head studs and we can do the injectors when you get back. TJ can get them changed in under an hour.
TJ and Travis are the only two people i would trust to work on my truck.
When you get back and look us up and we'll get your truck in the Cave.

Any chance you all still do a little wrenching around the "Cave"?

I have the same types of questions along the lines as "Johnny" (except not deployed and it would be my own truck) up there and would love a chance to meet a bunch of guys who love their own trucks and wrenching on their own equipment. I am currently in the Air Force, which leaves me wrenching in the driveway (dont mind that at all really)...typically with borrowed tools as mine are currently in a different state. I have a 99 Powerstroke and would like to get some things done!

Im at Andrews AFB (also right off 495) currently and would love the opportunity to get a second set of eyeballs on my truck and give me a hand. If youd like you can contact me at archangel4x4@yahoo.com and schedule a meet. I really appreciate it!
