Smoke on the Mountain '08
This little cruise started 5 years ago, its about time to get it on the schedule so ppl can start planning out the holidays.
Halloween is a friday this year, but the weekend before would fit with previous years traditions of last full weekend of October for the trip. So going with tradition, how does October 25th, 2008 sound to everyone?
Here is a brief recap of last years smoke on the mountain!

and here is a recap of 2006's trip:

I realize that fuel prices are thru the roof, but I have gotten a lot of PMs recently asking when this trip was gonna happen, and that they could care less what fuel costs are, they are going this year!!!!!!
And to sound like a broken record... Get The Buffet!!!
The way it works is:
1. Everyone is welcome. All makes/models of diesel, and new and old members.
2. The trip begins near canada, california, and Idaho. People join into the group on freeways throughout OR and WA in such a way, that everyone arrives at Exit 68 on I-5 in WA at roughly the same time. I believe last year was about 8am or so (I need to go back and look).
3. We all eat breakfast, mill around, meet and greet, etc etc
4. The cruise starts. Head to various tourist locations along the way, take photos, mill around etc etc.
5. Reach the top. Take in the view, walk thru the tourist center, see the movie, mill around, etc etc.
6. Break into small groups and head for home or where ever. Some groups take back ways home and hit additional tourist sites on their way home.
At some point I think it would be really cool to turn this into a poker run, or teddy bear run or food drive or something. Attempt to even out our social Karma from all that driving and smoke
Drop me a line if you need anymore info.

No new info on where they are hooking up with the bombvoy yet.
Normally they all rally at the Fly'n J in Fife or the McD's at 512 & 5; then grab the line on I-5.
The 25th is still the date. If you want to keep a closer eye on it (god don't yell at me for this) register at Northwest Bombers and go into the events section.
