t case for nv4500
sorry for making another post i didnt know how to change title from previous post to this but anyway my powerchoke is going on down hill so im trying to just get the cummins going in it. i am going to be using nv4500 and will eventually be running np271 with 29t input, for now i wanna know what t case will bolt right up easy to find and not tooo expensive??
And is there a vender that sells ford clutch pedal assembly for a gas or idi mid 90s?

The clutch pedal assembly will likely have to be a Pick-N-Pull junkyard part...I've never seen them available off any shelf, personally.
If you're putting a Cummins in it, just find a rusted out 4x4 Dodge and use the whole drivetrain. The 2nd Gen t-case (241DHD most likely) falls to the driver side like a Ford, so it should be just fine. If you already have the engine and transmission, then look around for a 241DHD from behind a Cummins/NV4500 combo. The 29 spline output on the NV4500HD kind of drastically narrows down the available t-case options to either a factory available one or a hybrid/adaptor of some sort...

so most people that have the nv4500 usually have the 241dhd? and it hold up fine?

So for my nv4500 what year np241hd are compatible? And are they interchangeable from auto and Manuel tranny?

IIRC, you will have to find a 241 from behind a manual (V10 or Cummins) to get the 29 spline count, the V8 NV4500 and auto's are 23 spline...?
