Default need some advice

My head is spinning with options right now....here is an over view

I currently own a k5 jimmy. Not a GM guy but I LOVE this rig ...that said I'd like to have a diesel rig I could tow with. Not a lot but IF I needed to put my car in a car hauler and make a run to Dallas I'd like to know I could do it.

Secondary goal is I've been looking into possibilities of Bio/wvo. Can't run it with my current set up

I looked into selling the k5 but can't find anything that's grabbing my attention without a 500 buck a month payment and I've already got 2 of those.....

SO here is my question. Should I go for a 4bt swap. (Not sure about the daily driveability of this. Seems LOUD and rough). Go for a 12v Cummings. Or a 6.2/6.5L GM? The GM scares me a little with all the horror stories. Not sure if anyone could point me in a direction of an aftermarket block/crate motor that's worth a damn.

Or would I just say f it build a high torque gas motor and keep looking for a diesel rig.

What's your imput?

In a perfact world I'd like to end up with something like this with a Cummings drivertrain

theres no g, its cummins, the 4bt cummins sounds just like a 6bt, and there is nothing wrong with driving one daily, i do it.

put a cummins 12 valve in it.
