I am weighing my option on which is best (money and work) wise to do. I have an 83 K5 with a 6.2l diesel body is shot/frame is ifyyy power train strong. Then I have a 91 K5 with a 5.7l gas sucker. Body pretty good, needs a little work, power train seen its better days. Here is the question, which would be best; scrap the gas and put the diesel in it or swap body. Are there any issues with the tranny/91 chassis computer? I've never done a swap from gas to diesel any help is greatly needed and appreciated.
