Default Honda 2.2 i-CTDI in a Honda Element

I was wondering if anybody has tryed this.
I know that in Europe they have CRV's that are running around
with this motor in it.
I would like to get the motor and tranny all as one unit and drop it in
my Element but I'm not sure as to how much fabrication is involved.
Are there any resources for these motors in the states or is is it possible
to order something from overseas?
Thanks

The engine importers that you speak of are they easy enough
to find on the internet?

I have been considering the same thing for awhile. although I don't have an element I thought it would be a great vehicle for a conversion. Either that or a Rav 4 with the 1nd tv engine. The only thing i have issues with in such conversions is the problems with registering it. I still don't know for sure the legality of such conversions, and how different they are from state to state. I'm sure you can just register them as they where, and keep it a secret until some cop pulls up next to you at a stop light or if your county does emissions tests and they wont pass your yearly inspection.
