Hello everyone im new to this and im sure this has been asked 10k times. But can anyway give me information on what all I need to convert my 1996 f350 7.5l 4*4 to diesel. What would it cost? Thanks

 

You will need a motor, engine harness, PCM, IDM, motor mounts...

Probably need the Diesel transmission... I'm not sure if the gas trans will work... You need the diesel fuel tanks and fuel lines.

You can pick up a complete motor for 1000-2500 bucks... Trans for another 1000-1500. It's all the little things that are going to nickle and dime you...

 

I found a complete running truck with bent frame for 2000 would that be my best bet?

 

Difficulty and money depends on what diesel you use and how mechanically skilled u r. Cummins are usually an "easier" swap than a powerstroke because of electronics. Just keep lookin thru this section, you'll find lots of info, good luck
