Where did you get the motor mounts. Looks like the truck side mounts are fabbed but the motor side mounts I would like to get. That grill will get plenty of double-takes!

Default mounts

the engine mounts are from a 2000 24v they enabled me to lower the engine

the body mounts I fabed myself 3/8 bottom plate 8x12 the uprights are 1/2 pass 4x4 drivers 4x8 the angle iron was welded to the drivers side because there is only 3 holes holding it on and it hangs out there in no where land seem to be plenty strong

any more questions let me know

"well the transfer case is in no major issues it does take up more room than I thought it would. I need to lower the rear cross-member 1 1/2 lower should not be much of an issue all the drive lines are hooked up the front I didn't have to do anything the rear had it shortened 2.5" and put on the dodge slip yolk"
How did you figure out where the transmission mount height is to be?
Btw, I spent $160 to shorten and balance my main drive line and $420 for new (longer 3" diameter front drive line). Seems like big $$$ to me!?!?

Default trans

the trans height

3 reasons why I lowered it

1 transfer case was hitting body
2 drive shaft was going up hill
3 transmission was real close to the floor pan

1 1/2 is just right

drive line front I did nothing and the rear I shortened it 2 1/2 inches cost me to shorten it and balance 63.00 including tax an old business that in 10 years will probably close due to their age he has been doing drive shafts for 30+ years

Thanks, I am replacing the zf5 and had to shorten by nearly 5" (used auto world motor mounts). Swapping from the Ford auto also lets you with a heavier crossmember to start with I believe. I need to do some drilling as well for my crossmember to work.
Funny, you exactly describe the machine shop that did my work, in fact there are two gentlemen in their seventies. I am you thinking you got a good deal and I got ripped-off a little.
