Ok so what are the things needed to build a fummins?
I have a 2002 f350 7.3. will be keeping the 4r100.
Can yall help me get a list of parts and prices going?
I'm probably going to do a 24v can get good mpgs and play with tunes and if i want can p-pump it at some point.

So ill need bell housing adapter Cummins to 4R100/E40D Price - $795.00- destroked.

Common Rail/ 24 V Motor Mount - $295.00 - destroked.

Does it matter what tach kit ($249.00) i use 4, 12, 58 point?

Will i need a flex plate?

What about torque converted will i need an adapter for that too?

I'll be doing the swap in about a year cuz I want 500HP but my truck has PMRs and only good to like 425-450. So I'd have to do a rod swap and rebuild. so i figured do a cummins swap. Also with the swap I'd get better mpgs 18+ rather then 13

 

A gear swap or overdrive unit would also net better mileage...

 

what would you be doing with your 7.3L?

 

Selling it. and ok but I mean as far as getting the swap done I want it done well with stock cummins then go from there build trans, chip, injectors, gear vendors. Whatever I wanna do.

 

dont forget a few things some folk over;look-you prolly gottum-

axle stands-engine hoist thats man enough for a cummins-lifting slings/chains-bottle jacks-and plenty lumps of timber to shore stuff up on-
