i posted another thread talking about a dmax swap but know im thinking about swapping in a 12v cummins with the allison in it still. has anyone done this before an what would i need to do the conversion. an to all the ppl i know i should just sell the truck an buy a diesel but i think it would be cool to have one with a diesel in it. (its an 01 with 8.1L an the allison 4x4)

because thats where they do the 45 dollars inspection with emmisions testing, and they will **** a brick if you bring in a truck that has had an older engine put in it with out all the epa crap needed for your model year.

screamingseeman works at destroked he is the guy i bought my turbo from he was building a 04 chevy sc on a topkick chassis when i was last there looked awesome

 

can anyone give me info on putting a 24v out of a 99 i can get the hole truck but i need to know how hard it would be to do the swap with the 24v thanks.

 

does any one know that what i will need to make the 4x4 to work with the conversion it is push button thanks
