sweet truck man im converting my 97 to a cummins using a bus engine... any pointers? did u use a destroked kit or ford cummins for ur mounts? and is that the bus oil pan? looks like a tight fit. I wasnt sure if u had to put one from a "dodge" cummins on it.

I used the ones from FordCummins for mine, no complaints here, and their guide they sell gives you some good pointers. Not sure on the oil pan.

The bus oil pan was to big i ended up using a dodge oil pan I used fordcummins mounts cause i already had them but i will be build my own for the 89 fummins.
To me the bus engine was the best fit ever thats whats in this 95 I bought the engine and pulled it myself.

To me their guide is a joke (radiator fitment) you can use the ford diesel or the dodge either works well. Hell a blind man could have told ya that itdoes not say what fan will work I tried 3 different setups before switching to electric all because their tach sensor hit.
even after i bought there tach kit they couldnt tell me what to torque it to WTH sorry to rant
chase
