Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I just joined this forum because of this and Rangmar's threads. I look forward to following in your footsteps and making my own Kubota pickup. I'm going to school in Provo, UT, where can I find one of those engines?

Well the best source is a refrigeration semi trailer repair shop, these motors are being removed from working units that are just old enough to be non-compliant for the new EPA reg's in California. Most are low hour motors and are good to go, you just need to do a little searching in your area.

Completely new DI truck underway. This time I bought a truck that’s super nice. Now that we have figured out how good they run I figure it’s time to build a nice one! So far I’ve torn it down, built the plate for the serpentine belt system, bought a radiator-intercooler-fan set up, turbo, and a few other parts. I’ll make a few mods this time like better engine mounts, better throttle control, and in general just a cleaner more streamlined appearance. I am looking forward to seeing the difference in the DI vs. the IDI engines. I’ll post pictures as I go, here’s a few to start.

Awesome. Fte has been telling me about it. I just wanted to see it. The rad intercooler and fan are from a s80 Volvo correct? Great idea. Just a FYI. Sam at Leonard's diesel has a 90degree t stat housing. I just ordered one for mine If I remember you made one for your current truck. Might save some fab work and it was only 20 bucks

i just saw one of those Volvo intercooler radiator combos at my local pick and pull today. I was just looking at the intercooler, I did not think to use the whole set up. I did not get a price . Kubota man if you don't mind what did the whole intercooler/rad set you back. The local Volvo must have just arrived it was still pretty intact.
I was sort of hoping to get a little bit larger intercooler than what I saw today
your new truck looks great have fun with it.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I just joined this forum and have been reading through this swap gathering info and advice. I'm currently swapping a V2203 DI into a 1967 Inertnational Scout 800.
