Default OM617 in 2000 s10 Alda question.

SO this is a dumb question but i have me alda spun all the way counter clock wise. Do i still need the vacuum lie going from the intake to the alda? I currently do not have it there.

Not a vacuume line but a pressure line from the rear fitting on the intake manifold, this is also a good place to tee off a line for the boost guage.

That's what I ment, sorry I have my boost gauge hooked up to the fittin on the back of the intake but not T-Ed off to the Alda. Would it make any difference if I hooked up that Alda since I have it spun all the way counter clockwise?

you still need the alda hooked up the alda regulates fuel according to boost pressure make sure the banjo bolt going into the intake manifold is free and clear

I am running 373 gears with a 98 s10 5 speed from a 4.3 with 235/55/16 tires and has good takeoff and runs out very well.
