Based on researching the MB FSM, I'm looking for part of the throttle linkage from a 116 which utilized a throttle cable. Specifically, the metal plate that bolts to the top of the valve cover which holds the throttle cable (bowden wire for idle speed adjuster) and cruise control cable (bowden wire for cruse control). The service manual refers to it as the holder shown as part 9 on page 30.8-300/12 f2. I also need the angle lever shown as part 8 on the same diagram. This is the 90 degree pivot lever (your current one has the red STOP sticker) that connects the 2 bowden wires to the linkage to the IP.
Hope this helps. If it works as it appears, then you can hook both a throttle cable and a cable from a cruise control servo.

Picked up some linkage from the yard this morning.
this compact item comes from a volvo...has a build-in return spring:
also grabbed some additional mercedes brackets and linkage which should provide some options towards my conversion:
