Is the ford cummins exhaust manifold for 12 valves just an industrial manifold

On our engines the exhaust ports are rectangular shaped, on the cr's they have round shaped exhaust ports so it won't work. I was going to do the same thing until i found that out.
I have a c/r manifold on my 1st gen. I port matched the c/r man. to match the square ports of my cyl head. I used the round gaskets but they will leak a little when the turbo is in exh. brake mode. I'm gonna make some custom gaskets. When it off to make the gaskets I'll take some picks of the grinding I did

i had that problem with the flipped manifold. grind down the square edge that sticks out flat, and you can rotate the housing for more clearance.

Just to clarify guys.....................does this mean that I CANNOT take a manifold off a 1st or 2nd gen and replace the manifold that is on there now?????

Any 5.9 manifold (possibly even the 6.7) will bolt up, just might need some minor modifications depending on the year of the motor it came from. That's what I like about doing a conversion, there's more than one way to do things

this is from a older ford truck I have a 03 coming I want to test fit and use the best

I have a couple of the rear dump twelve valve exhaust manifolds off of ups trucks if that is what your looking for. 50 bucks plus shipping
