Hi i just recently joined this sight because my buddy and i were talking about swapping a 4bt into a 77 ford f150 shortbed. i would just like to know the best engine to start with if a 4bt is good or not? we want quite a bit of whp. would just like to get input on what to swap into it and were to start on this exciting rebuild. thanks!

 

i would go with a 6bt, they are easier to come buy and cheaper, plus if you are going for horsepower you will get more with more cubic inches.
