hi all first time poster here I stumbled upon your site looks like some good info here

I bought a parts car and the engine is too good to waste sitting in the corner of my shop I have a 300td engine and tranny and this weekend i was coming home and ran into a 98 s 10 extended cab under 4 ft of snow after asking I can buy it for 500 engine and tranny are bad body upon measuring it looks like it will fit has any one done this successfully

 

Yea, there is a guy in Michigan I think that did it in a similar year s10. He made an adapter to mate it to a M5R2 5spd out of an F150. He had to relocate the oil filter and mod the front sump oil pan. I think the trans tunnel/firewall was modified as well. It was 2wd. I think I found the link on this site, but not sure, it's been a while.
