Default which tranny ZF 5 or NV4500?

so i am running a small block ZF-5 now in my Bronco and the clutch is just too darn small (its a 10 inch South bend ceramic) and it slips, not bad but i can spin it.

so i need a bigger clutch which means i need a bigger bellhousing, which means i need to change my tranny.

just want some opinions on both.

bonus to the Powerstroke ZF is no problem mating it to my NP205 transfercase, downside is i need to buy a new adaptor plate.

NV is easy and cheaper to get the adaptor plate but i will have to modify my 205 using dodge input shaft to make it work.

i'd go with the nv4500. they are extremely tough, as long as you fix 5th gear and put the right fluid in it.
idk if its a common problem with the zf5 but i know of a 97 powerstroke that keeps breaking the aluminum tailshaft housing... could just be that he's an idiot n beats the snot out of it

I like ZF5 but the NV4500 just seems more tried and true.

Adaptor plates are expensive..... just my opinion I would stick with the NV4500. How hard will it be to modify the NP205?

I was just looking that up about the 205 and according to new procces ford 205 has a 6 bolt pattern just like the 205 that comes behind the getrag and ford 205 has the larger front bearing just like the dodge the down side of the swap that I found was the 29 spline input shaft kits that I was finding were $600+ hope that can help your swap

the zf will be cheaper and just as tough or better than the nv4500. why not use the zf 6 speed
