I've done it to a '96.
Parts you'll need:
Stock '95 Intercooler set-up, cast turbo/intercooler elbow to the intake horn.
'94-02 Radiator, Shroud (if available) and A/C condensor.
'94-'98 Fan support, fan and pulley.
'94-'02 Engine mounts.
'94-'02 block adaptor plate.
IF you have all of the '95 wiring and it's not butchered, find the 3-wire plug for the start/shutdown solenoid, you need the wire that is hot when running AND cranking (white?) to activate the VE's solenoid.
You will have to make short fuel supply and return splices, but thats simple splicing with short rubber fuel line.
The ONE tickle spot in my whole conversion to a VE bullet, was that I had to re-shape 1 injector line to go AROUND the 1 foot on the intake horn, otherwise it was pretty straightforward.
Again, I used everything I could from the stock '96 engine, INCLUDING the stock tranny set-up from it, and it's basically the same deal as you are asking about.
I did also use the stock '92 turbo, but you can use the cast downpipe adaptor off the '95 turbo on the '92 turbo, and the exhaust won't cause you any grief.
Mark.

just take and cut that front part off the intake horn, i did this same swap once and thats what we did, or find one off a 24v vp pump truck
i would find a hx35 to put on there and ditch that 18cm housing on that older turbo, your spool up time will be sooo much better
and for the ve solenoid, it just need a 12v ignition source which you can get from the 3pin connector for the P-pump shut off solenoid-like already stated above
