Default 1st generation 5.9 Cummins in a 1990 Chevy K2500

I was wondering if anyone has done a cummins/chevy conversion. Im planning on doing this project this winter and im looking for a little guidance. First of all, the cummins engine has the nv4500 trans. Only problem is that its 2wd. I have a 1st gen power ram frame with the axles. I just need some help with the transfer case. Any suggestions? Also please dont tell me to go buy a 4X4 because that is out of the question. I am also wondering about the people that have done this, what did you do with the interior? Electronics, heater, radio, dash, steering column etc.

As far as the transfer case I would use a divorced case to solve that problem. I swapped a 2nd gen 12v into my 93 chevy c3500. I used the stock sensors form the chevy motor and used brass bushings to install them into the cummins. All gauges work as they should. You will have to extend or shorten some wires to fit. As far as the steering and interior, You wont have to do anything in there. Only underhood wiring. Hope this helps you out.
