Default clean 500 to 600 hp

I asked this question on another forum but didnt get much help To make a long story short, 5 years ago I got my hands on a 94 single cab (my first diesel) had a kid and had to sell it. But I was hooked from then on. I bought a 2000 quad cab and that was fine untill I had my second kid you guys with a family know quad cabs don't work. So I sold that and got a screamin deal on a crew cab duramax. It was cool but I missed my cummins so i wound up trading it for a 1996 crew cab chevy with a solid front axle and a 12v. I lost my eye in an accident and got a bit of change and my wife said build your dream truck. Don't have to tell me twice. So here is the deal it has a nv4500 I love manuals something about rowing gears that makes me happy. I spoke to moonlight diesel and they said they can make it hold 550 to 600 hp with a dd clutch. So heres what I'm thinking 024 dv's, 5x16 injectors or (maybe ddp +90) whats better?, dps s400 twins, Hamilton cam, springs and retainers, ARP studs (will I be fine with the 450$ ones), fire rings and maybe water meth to clean the smoke up. I want to build this once and do it right I don't care if it costs a lil bit more. Is it possible to have a reliable 5 to 600 horse daily driver or am I being unreasonable also is a 4k GSK safe for stock rotating assembly. Also i don't want to "roll coal" it was cool when I was a kid ( 2 smoking tickets) but I feel it brings a bunch of unwanted negative attention to the diesel performance community. Thank you for all of your time please critique this and let me know.

what year truck is the motor from?

does it have a P-7100 inline pump or a VE rotary pump?

what transmission and transfer case are you running in the truck?

600 is about the limit for some people to DD. theres a big difference in a set of 5x.016 and ddp 90s. id go with a set of sdx 5x.016 sticks my self. the regular 12mm arp studs will be fine for what u are going to be doing. stock internals will hold 4k easily. water meth aint realy for cleaning up the smoke, its for controlling egts. good luck with the build man

well it allows for a larger volume of air to flow at the same PSI so that compared to a stock with the same amount of fuel will lessen the smoke. it is all a matching game, matching the pump to the injectors to the turbo's to the head and then matching a clutch or an auto tranny to it all so it'll last.....
