K50, the most difficult part for me was deciding what eng mounts to run and what to design for a crossmember. The auto shift linkage was a PITA but wasn't high on the difficulty scale. I used the stock burb transfercase crossmember and the 47rh trans mount. That worked well. I'm using the burb intank fuel pump for now and its ok. I will upgrade when I have more funds. I gutted the electrical and kept only guage wiring. The temp works great but the oil press is backwards. The dodge sender reads differently than the gm. I intend to put an Autometer setup in there as well. All in all it was good. Suburbans should have came with a CTD to begin with. It's an entirely different vehicle! Thanks Brian

Mileage update: We completed a 655 mile roundtrip up Cloudcroft,NM over to Carlsbad,NM and back home. Our overall fuel average is coming out to 19.5. I seriously believe we could have been 21-22 without any mountains. That's doing 73 up and 70 back. CTD made a huge diff in the mountains. The old gasser would have sucked bad! I'm looking into 3.73s and a posi. I'm hoping to get close to 25mpg. I bet it would do it with the wife driving as she is a lot lighter foot! So far this conversion has been a great idea. That's what I keep telling the wife anyway! Still need to finish the exhaust but I'm enjoying the noise too much. Still haven't taken care of the Oil press either. I have indication, it's just backwards. I'll put up picks when I get the exhaust done.
