Im getting ready for a 4bt swap into my 1990 bronco. I plan on keeping my E4OD transmission. I plan on getting a adapter plate from fordcummins.com to mate them together. Now for my question

My e4od is computer controlled. Ive read that the diesel e4ods have a stand alone controller for them. Is that true and how easy would it be to swap over to my gas e4od?

Any preferences on aftermarket trans controllers?
