exhst manifold quest
I'm putting a 93 12v in a 99 superduty and was wondering if the stock manifold and turbo will clear the a/c box. I know fordcummins has a manifold that gives 6" of clearance but cost $410 Also, if anyones interested I have some 93 w350 parts( 29 spl np205, axles, and frame)
Not 100% sure on the SD's, but on the OBS Fords you can just flip the manifold upside-down and rotate the turbo pieces so the oil inlet and outlet are strait up and down. Thats what I did on mine.
There are many different stock manifolds you can get also. From a 1st gen 2nd etc. They also have a couple of different kinds with the industrial motors. They exit in different locations too and can be spun around.
It is almost limitless the types you can find that cummins made for this motor.

I guess I'm looking for someone who's done a superduty. I've found several 03 and up manifolds on ebay for fairly cheap that have the t3 towards the back (which could be a problem) and straight down. Nice work on that f150 by the way
I am planning on working on a 2004 F-150 next just attempting to procure the parts right now.
300HP ISB 3.9 with 5-speed allison transmission sound good?
sounds like a sweet combo. I ended up getting an 03-07 manofold. It has round ports but I am grind the manifold a little so the holes line up so there's no interference. I'l post some pics when I do it
