Default What do i need?

My friend has a 1975 Ford F100 2wd pickup with a 360ci big block. What would he and I need to put a 4.0 Cummins diesel in it? I know we would have to fabricate some engine mounts and other things in that nature but what tranny would we have to get, axel, new frame etc? Any info would be great. Thanks, Jake

Yup...you should be able to put either a 4bt or a 6 cylinder cummins. Doing the 6 cylinder may require some frame beefing - I dunno.

www.4btswaps.com has lots of info if you want to do the 4bt.

DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions or fordcummins.com - Increase Horsepower with Ford Cummins Diesel conversion kits might be able to help you out with parts or direction for all the bits and pieces, motormounts and such.

Hope that helps.
