Default Can anyone help me out on a cummins question?

Ive been looking for a 12 valve for my truck but I can olny find industrial versions. I'm wondering if it would be possible to mate a 47 rh to that engine and if anyone would happen to know where to find the dodge cummins engine at if this wasn't possible also I'm sure the motor mounts are different to.

my plan was get an industrial engine buy a built tranny then buy motor mounts from fordcummins, on the industrial it looks like they olny have two bolt holes for the motor mounts and the where the bell housing mounts it looks huge

they are the same engines other than some of the turbos they came with and fuel settings everything else like the block is identical and will accept on the road cummins parts. as for the adapter plate it is prob a sae3 adapter plate tyhat you see on there and you will need to put on the adapter plate for your tranny.

Where could a guy find the bellhousing mount for a 47rh? If my wording is incorrect I apologize I'm only a sophomore in highschool so I got a lot to learn about engines yet.

The injector pump and all the other accesories will be driven off the back of the motor nearest where the transmission would bolt up. You want one with all the gears and stuff on the front of the motor.
