I want to swap 392 for diesel!!!!!

Default I want to swap 392 for diesel!!!!!

I have a 1970 International pickup that I would like to put a diesel in, where would I start and what would I need?

I think it would be pretty bada$$ if you put a DT466 in it. International pickup with an International diesel motor that has potential to be a REAL powerhouse.

An International DT360 would be a better choice, they are similar in size to a 6bt. The DT466 is HUGE, it needs to be in an intermedate to big truck chassis. A 4bt would also be a good choice, depending on weather were talking 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton.

well could I just go with a powerstroke? I think what I'm getting at I would like to build me a pulling truck. What about computer and how does all that work?

Best to stay with an inline 4 or 6 with a mechanical pump for ease of conversion and reliability imo, especially if you are building for pulling.
