Thanks for all the comments. Unique and tank-like is exactly what I was going for. After I got the car I was looking it over and found that the front bumper bracket was made from 5/16 plate steel bent into a w shape so I knew it was a tank. I always try and build diffrent things and figured this would be very diffrent. Every time I hear my friends diesel Dodge truck I can't wait until my CAR sounds like that. I even have a custom plate idea for it.

Ran into a small problem last night. Went to put the starter in and found it hits the steering arm. Anybody know a part# for a diffrent starter that will work with a 92 5.9 auto trans. The starter I have has the starter motor in the 6:00 position. It would work if it was in the 2:00 or something like that. I have also seen pics online of starters set up in a linear orientation. Would one of those work? Any imput is helpful. Thanks.

IT RUNS!!

Finally got some time and oil and away it went. Got an air bubble in the pump so had to bleed it but after that I shot this vid and it ran smooth as silk. Now just need to do alot of little things but plan on driving it by spring.

Hello, I just purchased a 67 imperial and I have a 6BT sitting on a pallet , can you email me or call me , I have some questions on what you did with the starter and the motor mounts and oil pan.

Thank you.
