Gen 1 in a 95 ram v10
I have a 93 1ton 4x4 5spd dually that is on it's last leg, bodywise, VERY RUSTY! I found a 95 Ram dually 4x4 club cab v10 auto that I might be able to pick up cheap, motor shot. I'm wondering about the tranny wiring, if I need a 94+ ecm? I know I'll need a different tq converter and probably a flexplate, and I asume a 94+ tranny adapter. I was going to put the motor in a 99+ superduty 6spd but if the 95 is really cheap might be a better, more cost effective swap, but I'm hoping someone with more knowhow can let me know for sure. I've seen a couple questions like mine one this and other diesel sights but not any real replies, any help is greatly appreciated

I wouldn't mind the 5spd if it were a nv4500, but I have thr "rag" in the 93, plus after some research the 95 is a 47rh so not much electronics, just t/c lockup and OD. I've seen some post about hobbs switches on the tranny to get around the electronic issues. I still really want the superduty swap, I've had two and really liked them both, plus fordcummins told me it wouldn't be any more $ to swap a cummins in a s/d than a gas dodge(of course they're trying to sell me the parts!), just might be able to get the 95 dodge real cheap, and it's in good shape. I've heard the 47rh isn't too bad as long as you get a good t/c , shift kit and keep the power close to stock, but I'm not very familiar with them. Also, I see the 93 ecu has some tranny outputs, don't know if it works on the 47rh or just the a518, heard they're nearly the same tranny
