LOL! You're hilarious man!

You've never actaully even seen this engine and tranny mated together, but yet you'll argue with TWO people here who have not only put them together, but have and driven the vehicle with the combo in it for a while. AND yet you'll try to tell them that THEY are wrong when they say it works fine.

That sounds like either the very definition of arrogance - OR someone trolling for an argument!

But then those of us who already know you, wouldn't expect anything else...

And after this Fall/Winter it will be 3 people--the OM617 to 700R4 adapter price just dropped, so I'm doing this swap over the next few months--I'm posting on IFSJA forum since it's a Wagoneer.

I just consider the source! ForcedInduction spouts his hate and discontent on other sites as well. I just picked up an 85 300sd for the motor for my jeep, and its a driver, that said my 700r4 is way better than this rig and I have test drivin 5 different cars over the last 3 weeks looking for a suitable doner. They all drove like slugs compaired to my jeep with a wounded motor!! I hope to have the new motor in soon!

That is false information.
There are several of them running around the Denver/Boulder/Longmont area and none of them drive remotely as nice as with the stock transmission or 5-speed manual.
