i know its possible and would be a pretty straight forward conversion...but the guy wandering about this swap is a friend of mine, and when his 360 finally gives up the ghost he is wanting to put the 4 cyclinder in there...his only question was if his his orginal dodge automatic transmission would bolt right up to the 4bt or does he need an adapter plate for the bell housing

Im thinking the gassers had the 47rh's just like the diesels that year but probably different valve bodies and TC...

u will need an adapter plate for it i believe. i dont think any of the 4bt had the same bell housing as the dodges.
