well i got it running yesterday!!!!!! wiring is done and routed nicely. just a couple more splices before i can loom it all up. fenders are now in intercooler tubes are on it (painted the same color green the truck is going to be). and it is all together and running. hope you guys like it:)
Attachment 51318 Attachment 51319 here is the wiring at the start its a big mess Attachment 51320 ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- here are some more pics of it assembled: dual batterys are run all electrical is working and all the gauges work as well Attachment 51321 more pics of engine bay (gotta paint the other intercooler tube still Attachment 51322 here is how we ran the wires to the factory ecm. Attachment 51323 i still have to go through the factory chevy harness and delete out the wires that wont be used. and then i can loom it all up. all the wait to start, water in fuel, oil pressure, electrical, intake heaters, all the sensors and everything work. this thing screams when it runs |
SWEET project!! Looks awesome so far!
It's cool to see more of these around. I'd also love to do a 73-87 K30 cummins swap. |
Nice i would like to do the same to my S-10 sometime soon.

Nice work man, thanks for all the pics, I've got an 89 here I'm about to do the same thing. Keep us updated :tu: By the way I often wondered if the cheapy engine stand could hold a Cummins. I've got a block only on mine, I was afraid to try to build the whole motor on it. Not anymore :rocking:
