i have an 06 chevy silverado 1500 hd(basiclly a 3/4 ton) automatic 4x4 and and i want to drop in a 5.9 24 valve and a 6 speed trany in it. i was just woundering what it would take for me to do this. if any one has some good advice for me it would be much abliged. thanks for all the help.

oh hell ya go for it but i might suggest a p-pumped 24v if you have the extra $ if your going to have it for performance
