i was wondering if i would have to change any drivetrain parts if i dropped a cummins in a 77-87 chevy halfton truck?

 

Well first off, a Cummins doesn't "drop" in to anything other than what it came out of. Second, yes you would have to change the transmission, transfer case and at least the rear end if you wanted to have a good running Cummins in there.
