Default lots of ?'s and need lots of ideas

Well, im working converting my 76 Nova to a diesel. Im using a 6.5 liter, with a 6.2 fuel system. Im replacing most of the hardware with ARP studs, and having the engine blueprinted. To hold this weight im planning on useing springs out of a BB camero/nova. And the drivetrain to be a 700 R4 and a ford 9" rear.
Has anyone done anything like this? any sudgestions (besides dont do it because 6.5's suck)? places to buy rebuild parts, as well as stuff like glow plug setups, or any aftermarket avalible?
thanks

Eh, it's no big deal if you post in the wrong spot. We all did it, including me. As far as the glow plug setup, just need to find a heavy duty relay and hook it up to a momentary switch.

Got a harness for the glow plugs with one end tying to the relay, other post is for a battery cable. Then the smaller term's, one is for a switch and the other for a light IIRC. What they're showing is the controller circuit and temp sensors.

If you have not seen it already, there is a Nova or malibu (cant remember) on youtube with a 6.5 in it. Its not going to be that complicated to wire up if you are using the DB2. There is a crazy european on there somewhere with a pulling tractor with a 6.5 with 2 IP's on it...I'll try to find the link to that. For aftermarket stuff or OEM replacement parts I would go to Heath Diesel Power 6.5 GM & Chevy Diesel Performance Truck Parts, www.kennedydiesel.com,www.pensacoladiesel.com.

You can get a 506 AMG block that is stronger than stock or you can take a look at 6.5 Diesel Engine - Peninsular Engines - Marine & Vehicles. They have made some wild marine 6.5's and sell lots of on-road parts as well.
