I think I'm the only one that realizes you have a c50 and not a late model pickup...

Even if you go with a 3208 I would find a bigger trans for it. I think you will have some firewall mods due to the head width being so big on the cat v-8's. Any reason why you want a V-8 Cat?

Yea that 3208 would probably eat a little 4spd pretty fast

are you the one with the primer gray vette with the 5.9 in it???? seen pictures floating around the net somewhere......i know it has to be yours........

3208 should fit into it.......its a typical big chevy grain truck......actually if you look around you may find one with a 8.2 detroit fuel pincher or a big block 366 and a 4 speed.......

A 366 isn't as wide as a 3208, a 3208 is still wider then the driptroit. And, if it is a typical chevy grain truck, which front clip does it have? Because the non tilt one will be fun working on it and most of the driptroit equipped trucks had a little more recess on the firewall than the BBC gasser trucks.

I know of that guy he has two now. Well I think we are talking about the same guy. He has one in a new Chevy body now like a 2001 and up and he didn't stretch it he cut into the firewall and its backed by a Big Allison not the new ones. I ll hit up some people see whats if they know the guy it's up by Lima Ohio all the time has a Cummin Get This Sticker on it.

This would be a really cool Idea you wont have to worry about emissions or re registering cause it's a older pickup. I hope this helps and I will get down to the bottom of it find out who did that swap. :5:
