Bomb 12V In A '71 Ford?

I've been tinkering with the idea for a couple of months now and it's sounding better and better. I think it will fit with a few mods. The truck would have a body off restoration and would then be lifted to the extreme, every thing would be to the extreme, tires, wheels, axles, engine, trans. and t-case. Any thoughts? Comments? Ideas? Oh yeah, this would be done after my chevy build. Thanks

why bother with 2.5 tons.......i mean really......go with 5 tons......they are cheaper and stronger than 2.5 tons and now they are building disk brake kits for them......i would run a big truck allison behind it and go into a NP200 floater indexed straight down.....subframed and 4 linked on either 49 inch Iroks, 47 inch LTB's or 54 inch boggers.....the 54's dont have much tread though......if its going to be a on road truck i would just go with a set of 52 inch military michelins.......cheaper and will last longer.......the hood stack will most likely be illegal.............
