Removing the auxiliary transmission box from the main.....



She slid nicely off...


Back of the main box..




Front of the Auxiliary Box.... everything looks good....


Range Sychro Looks good.....

Usually just five or six.. (gear #3, #5 [range shift] #6 #8 (#9?) and #10)

Unless someone is really tailgating me... then all 10 gears baby...nice, steady and sloooow :p

Lol! One of our old firetrucks had a 2 speed rear end, wish I could find one like that for my truck! Thing was a bitch to drive, but once ya got the hang of it, it was pretty fun!

But never fun at 3am...

Oh, and just noticed you're from Green Bay... spent most of my summer up there with my head stuck up my ex's ***. Nice town, though!

You will use more than you think, it will keep you from reving the motor as much. Once you get the hang of shifting without a clutch, it is fast to go through the gears.

Looks like both units are in really good shape.

Once you get the hang of speed shifting the gear rowing is actually fun.
