I think a 12 Valve would be sweet in that old ford! I've just never been a fan of how the 4bt sounds. You really have a cool project going though!

Default Badda BING!

Enjoy the updates guys...........

Shock mock-up.....

NEW MOTOR???????

SURE WHY NOT!

Well..... guys I figured the 4BT looked awesome in ford blue and polished up....

(MY 4BT its also for-sale!)

So I figured the 6BT would get the same treatment..... along with some ford red up top to spice it up....

So to no further avail..... enjoy the blue and polish.... 6 covers now instead of 4....

~M

Before ... dirty and before disassembly....

Cleaned up...

And now onto what I did the entire weekend....... yes an ENTIRE weekend..

Badda Bing... 6 cyl style.......

(Note: New Oil Pan on the way....)

Enjoy and comments welcome....

~M

Oh and by the way.....

New transmission comes in next week

Eaton Fuller Roadranger 10 speed transmission...... watch out!

while you still have the motor out of the truck.... fix the KDP...

grind the plate to a #0, slide the AFC full forward (and the plate) and get a South Bend..

if you can... time it to 15-16.5°...

and you WILL.... LOVE IT !!!

P7100 is AWESOME !

Finally realized that if I'm going to use this eventually to haul a gooseneck trailer with the 'next classic car project' I better make it actually be able to haul the trailer......

Enter the 6BT P pump motor and 10 speed eaton fuller transmission.....

As of right now I have heavier running gear now then all of the production pickups as of date...

My 'weak link' is a full floating 10.5" 14 bolt DRW rear end....... and that my friend is saying something.
