Default 61 c120 diesel conversion to mb 603

a while back I was trying to put my mb 603 in a 89 s10 blazer, in short no more s10. Now I found a 61 international c120 pickup. I am trying to figure out how much of the massive vacuum system on the engine that i need to keep. The mb 603 in a 1987 SDL with bad electrical problems. I know that MB has a basic cpu on it. Should I try to clean up the SDL wire harness and use it or the C120's? The C120's system has been hacked so many times before I got it that I don't know how much is working. My third option is to use the wire harness out of 82 Ford F150. Trying to make a reliable 4X4 for DD and the backwoods. The Other question is which drive train would be best for the swap, the F150 or C120. Both are 4x4 with 4 speeds? the C120 has drums brake and a divorce transfer, F150 has front disc and a mated transfer case. the ford has 44 frontend and 9 inch rear with ?3.00 gears. The international has 44 front and rear with ? 4.11? I'm lending toward the f150 chassis right now. But that means making an adapter to mate it up. The C120 has a divorce transfer which means I can keep the MB auto (ick ) and don't have to make a adapter. Which ever frame I go with will have the C120 body on it (have a title for it, ford is part-only). Thank you for your input.
