Well I am a proud new owner of a 1998 Ram Ramburban conversion from Bayer Auto Inc. Unfortunately the one I found was a 1500 gas, so I am going to 4bt it with an auto trans(still deciding).

Anyway I need info on how hard the conversion is, did you get all the factory gauges to work and basically what issues you encountered. Any information would be great.

I would do a mild 12v 6BT using a similar year ram 2500/3500 as a donor. 4BTs are stupidly expensive... and you'll probably need a whole bunch of stuff from a diesel ram to make it work anyway.

I almost converted a '96 Ram 1500. I got the 1-ton front axle in, but decided it was too rusty to continue, so I sold it.
