I just put a deposit on a bobcat 331 mini excavator and will inevitably immediately want to turbo it (because I turbo just about everything I get my hands on). I have gobs of experience doing this in gasoline world, but have never really had a diesel to mess with. I know obviously we're talking about a pretty small turbo and I shouldn't have any trouble figuring out mounting, oil lines, intake plumbing, etc. But I don't know anything about what I need to do fueling wise or how these are set up. Any tips or advice or links to other builds or how-tos would be appreciated. A google search led me here but I haven't done a whole lot of digging yet.


Also planning on adding A/C. It's got a cab but just heat right now. That's actually part of the reason I want to turbo it, I suspect I'll need a little extra power to offset the A/C compressor. Looks to be plenty of room "under the hood" so to speak to add even a fairly large automotive compressor and I've got a ton of old cars sitting around. I will post pics and start a build thread when I actually take delivery on this thing, hopefully next week. Thanks!
