1991 Cummins in a 1994 Ram 2500 Gas
Hey everyone I'm new here and not very experienced so if y'all could help me out. I have a really rusty 1991 W250 4x4 with a low mile 12 valve cummins in it. I want to take it out and put it in 1994 Ram 2500 4x4 it's got a 5.2 gas engine I believe. Just want to know a couple things. Is it doable? What do I need to look out for? Any advice basically would help. Thank you.

I would say do-able.... only because I've owned and wrenched on both style trucks. If the w250 is automatic, then your gas tcase will bolt up. You'll need 2ndgen/cummins engine brackets. I don't know the PCM implications on the '94 when changing the trans...
Also, you'll want to address the front suspension. The cummins trucks all had heavier coil springs and a Dana 60. Apparently there were some light 2500 trucks built in 94-95 with an 8-lug Dana 44 instead.
