All of the Kubota's I own have SAE pattern on the flywheel cover. The reefer motors are a shallow cover with their own flywheel configuration. The other motor I have came out of a street sweeper and has a more standard SAE flywheel cover and flywheel, so if your motor is more like my sweeper motor it might have the common SAE pieces. Phoenix Adapters have trans and flywheel adapters for the SAE pattern.

Do you remember what SAE pattern it was for your kubota?

What transmission are you planning on running? Would a toyota tranmission from behind a 22r be a viable swap candidate. Check out. Kubotaswappers for com. This is my new site. Still building it though

I was considering keeping the stock transmission in I saw somewhere on a forum deep in the interwebs that some one did it with their stock samurai trans trying to keep the budget as low as possible but if it came down to it I've heard of people putting 22r trans in samurais so it's possible

Sometimes it better to take your time rather than to rush it.
